Joining With an Invite
Open the invite link your family owner sent you and follow it to set up your account. There is nothing to do on the sign-in screen. If the link has expired, ask them for a new one.
Lost Your Phone Or Passkey
- Sign in on another device with your password, another passkey, or one of your recovery codes, then open Settings > Devices and sign out the lost one.
- If two-step verification is on and your authenticator app was on the lost phone, use a recovery code where the code is asked for, then turn two-step off and on again from the new phone.
- No password, passkey, or recovery code left? A family Owner or Admin can give a child or managed account a new sign-in code. For your own account, use Forgot password if this server sends email.
Security Reports
- Report suspected unauthorized access, invite leakage, exposed exports, provider credential exposure, or suspicious security notifications immediately.
- Operators should preserve relevant activity logs, revoke active sessions, rotate affected secrets, and verify backups before destructive remediation.
- Do not send passwords, recovery codes, invite links, reset links, exported files, or medical/financial documents through ordinary support email.
Data Requests
Users export their data and delete their account from Settings > Data and privacy, confirming it is them with a passkey, authenticator code, or password. Account deletion has a 14-day grace period. Support should help users complete those flows without bypassing authentication, authorization, CSRF, rate limiting, or step-up confirmation.
Provider Issues
For Resend, Google Calendar, Web Push, AI, file storage, or backup problems, support should check provider configuration, /api/health, preflight output, backup freshness, and the operations runbook.
